Black Country Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Burke Bros Moving Group as Member of the Week after they were recently awarded the Juan Peralta Ecology Award by the Pan American International Movers Association (PAIMA).
The Wolverhampton based removals company fought off competition from around the world to achieve the award for their sustained commitment to environmental responsibility and ecological awareness, making this the second time that the company have received this internationally recognised award, after having also being awarded it in 2006. Having maintained a record of recycling 100% of reusable materials without any waste going to landfill, the moving company have implemented a waste management system, working in collaboration with ACM Environmental PLC to ensure the procedure is environmentally and legally compliant.
Formed in 1982, Burke Bros Moving Group are no strangers to receiving a multitude of accolades, not only for their commitment to environmental sustainability, but also for the high quality of services they deliver. In 2013, they were awarded the Service Provider of the Year Award at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards.
As a business, Burke Bros Moving Group offer professional removal and shipping services to domestic and corporate clients, whether they are moving around the corner, to another part of the country or even relocating overseas. In addition, they provide containerised, self-access and archive storage for long term and short term storage. Furthermore, over the last 18 months the company have invested over £1 million in new vehicles, highlighting their commitment to business growth and development moving forwards.
